Modobag is motorized carry-on luggage that you sit on and, say the inventors, definitely won’t result in delays at security when the TSA agent sees a whole bunch of mechanisms and wiring built into the lining of your luggage in the x-ray.

The bag itself weighs 19 pounds which is already almost half your carry-on allowance, and has 85 percent of the storage space of a standard carry-on bag. It is powered by an electric motor that can be fully charged in less than an hour. The luggage is equipped with handlebars, foot pegs, and a dual USB port, none of which will be cause for any concern at the security gate.

Like other carry-ons, it can fit in overhead storage and the creators claim it’s FAA and TSA approved. It can be operated both indoors and outdoors and has a maximum speed of 8 MPH, which won’t be enough to outrun the TSA. Modobag has currently raised just under half of its $50,000 goal on IndieGoGo.
